About the Disability Inclusion Network

The RIDHE began this project with the idea of being able to move forward in search of collective solutions to the problem of systematic exclusion of people with disabilities and to propose actions based on concrete recommendations for States, institutions and civil society in general.

The recommendations made by several international organizations include the adoption of the social model of disability, the guarantee of the right to the exercise of legal capacity, and the implementation of clear regulatory frameworks that prevent, punish and redress their violations.

Faced with this reality, the Disability Inclusion Network space becomes an ecosystem of strategic advocacy for the socialization of good practices: it seeks to strengthen collective action, promote inter-institutional coordination, among others.

The purpose is to promote the construction of inclusive and accessible public policies, emphasizing the direct participation of people with disabilities as active holders of rights. Thus, this program not only makes structural barriers visible, but also promotes their transformation through collaborative processes oriented to social justice, equity and the full exercise of human rights for the entire population.
