The RIDHE participates in the course “Guidelines for Care for People with Disabilities, Communication and Accessibility”

RIDHE's Emergency Education program shares his memories that unfold a tapestry of stories, dreams and struggles.

At RIDHE, we reaffirm our commitment to the inclusion of people with disabilities in Latin America.

Since September 2024, we have been strengthening our capacities and those of our allied networks through the course “Care Guidelines for People with Disabilities, Communication and Accessibility”, taught by the ONCE Foundation.

This training, aimed at our team and members of the ProdePaz Network, has been a fundamental step in improving our inclusive practices in daily work. With a duration of 4 hours, the course allowed us to:

✔ Know techniques for appropriate treatment and communication with people with disabilities.
✔ Promote their active participation in all spaces.
✔ Understand the key concepts of accessibility.
✔ Recognize the diversity of disabilities: physical, visual, auditory, intellectual, psychosocial and organic.

We deeply appreciate this valuable tool that encourages us to continue building more accessible, just and respectful environments. 💻

Soon we will share more details about this and other initiatives that RIDHE is developing to promote the rights of people with disabilities.
